The Technik Heat UK BMW M3 GT Cup car with Jeff Wyatt at the wheel, can be seen winning its Silverstone race this Friday 27th June at 17.50 on Motors TV channel 447
Wyatt goes to the top of the Class
Jeff Wyatt from Milton Keynes put his GT Cup Championship defence aspirations firmly back on track at Silverstone in rounds 7,8 and 9.
Starting the weekend in joint 2nd place in the GTA class with his Geoff Steel Racing BMW E46 M3 GTR machine , 2 points behind the class leading Lotus Evora, Wyatt the 2013 Gt Cup Champion finished the 3 Silverstone races with a 4th place class finish in the Saturday 45 minute pit stop race after having to take to the grass spinning to avoid an out of control Lotus driven by Adrian Lester. Jeff won the first 25 minute sprint race with a winning margin of just 8/10ths of a second from the hard charging Ginetta G50 of John Saunders. The third and final race, another 25 minute sprint, held in beautiful warm sunshine over the Northamptonshire track saw a frenetic race long class battle between 4 GTA competitors, finishing with Jeff in 2nd place, 4/10ths of a second behind a determined and aggressive Mark Litherland in his BMW E36 M3, with less than 2 seconds separating the four leading GTA race cars at the end.
“ Despite a poor qualifying performance prior to race one, I got my head into gear and progressed well throughout the weekend. To bag a win and a second in the two sprint races is very satisfying, it leaves me leader in Class GTA by a few points from Mark, who is proving to be a hard Man to beat this year “ says Jeff
The next rounds of this 20 race Championship, rounds 10,11 and 12 are to be held at the Snetterton, Norfolk circuit over the 19th and 20 th July
GT Cup announces Brands Hatch television coverage on Motors TV
Highlights for the sun-drenched races of the GT Cup from the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit will be shown on Motors TV today (Friday 6th June) evening at 17:50 and Geoff Steel Racing had Jeff Wyatt and William Lynch running in the races – don’t miss it!!

Gt Cup Championship Brands Hatch GP circuit May 17th / 18th
Defending GT Cup Champion, Jeff Wyatt from Milton Keynes springs into life in races 4, 5 and 6 at the classic Kent track at Brands Hatch, taking away the 2nd spot trophy from all 3 encounters.
The weekend started with 36 of the Worlds finest GT machines, with a staggering 22,466 BHP on tap no less, lined up to do battle at the 2nd race meeting of the season. The entry list for the Brands hatch Grand Prix circuit rounds had expanded on the already impressive 33 cars that competed in the opening rounds at Donington park three weeks ago. Jeff and his BMW M3 GTR were competing in the 8 car strong and highly competitive, GTA class in this multi marque multi class championship.
“ The weather was hot and sunny and the racing was hot and frenetic too. We got the car dialled into a good set up in free practice and much to the pleasure of team owner Geoff Steel I managed to pull out of the hat a fast qualifying time for the first race, and that set me up to be competitive all weekend. Absolutely delighted to pull off three second place finishes in what is already proving to be an ultra competitive class once again “ comments Jeff.
After 6 races of the 20 race long season, Jeff is sitting in joint second place alongside fellow BMW M3 entrant Mark Litherland just 2 points behind the Lotus Evora of Adrian Lester

Brand’s Hatch; GT Cup Weekend (17th & 18th May)
Car preparations are nearly complete ahead of next weekends GT Cup Championship battle at Brands Hatch GP (17-18th May). GSR will have a busy weekend with all three of their GT Cup entrants in the races which are the supporting the Blancpain International race Championship. We are sure our drivers Michael Symons, Jeff Wyatt and William Lynch are all looking to tackling the demanding Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch.
