Description
Model: BMW E30 M3 (Will not fit non M3 cars)
BMW E30 M3 Boot Lid available in GRP/Fibreglass or carbon fibre
This item can be manufactured as a single skin or double skin.
The single skin is literally the outer part of the boot lid, it has non of the internal strengthening
and is designed for track or race cars only as it has to be secured using bonnet
clips/aerocatches or boot lid springs. It is strong enough to allow the E30 M3 aero wing to be
fitted to it.
The double skin version has the internal reinforcements and can be used on the original hinges.
This is the option to select if you want to be able to raise the boot without actually lifting it away
from the car. Supplied with thread fixings for the boot lid hinges but no fixings for the original
boot lid closing clasp. If you wanted to use the BMW retaining clasp you would have to cut and
drill the boot lid to accept it.
It is an ideal modification if you want to reduce the weight at the rear of your car
Please note this will not fit non M3 cars. The M3 boot lid covers the top of the rear quarter
panels, the non M3 does not.
